Nibbles … a Strawberry Tale. This short tale is fun to
follow along as Nibbles compare the smell of the nearing
garden and the sunshine that fills the sky. With a few
ingredients a smoothie is easy to make. Having children listen
to the story then create the recipe and follow directions
below will help promote their literacy and math development.
Recipe: Start off with 10 ounces of frozen strawberries or
fresh cleaned and sliced. Using one cup of milk, one cup of
cold water and 12 ice cubes. Place everything in a blender and
blend until it’s all smooth and yummy. Some people like to
add one cup of yogurt, or 1 teaspoon of honey or vanilla. Many
people really like the banana and strawberry combination. Using Nibbles
